He is also co-founder and CEO of Global Med Cables, which provides essential cables and sensors that power and connect critical medical devices in global healthcare organizations. Byron has over 30 years partnering with and supporting healthcare organizations with operational efficiency solutions.
Roderick Bell II, MBA, PMP
Roderick Bell is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of smart position. Roderick has nearly 30 years of healthcare IT experience, with executive management roles at Tenet, Vanguard, Coastal Carolina and Alta Vista. He oversaw the development of a $40M healthcare IT system from acute to ambulatory care.

He is also Founder & Managing Director Software & Hardware Development at smart IoT group (IoT Software & Platform Development) and Co-Founder & Head of Software Development at AVAILY AG (Property Technology Platform). He is an expert in Digital Product Development & Consulting.

Full time Emergency Medicine Practice since 1983. Retired from active practice 2018.
